Ben says I’m obsessed.  I say I just enjoy a good teenage vampire love story. (Don’t ask me how many Buffy episodes I’ve watched-I’ll never tell)

I went to see the movie last night with Sara and a bunch of other “girls” from her office.  We were NOT the oldest ones there, thankyouverymuch.  But we had a great time.  We giggled at all the awkward teenage moments and enjoyed listening to the middle school girls gasp every time Edward was on screen. I’m glad we went during opening weekend, it was such fun to watch it with all the fangirls.

It was a great movie, and even thought it wasn’t the book, I’d totally see it again.  It had just the perfect amount of cheese to go along with the action and cute vampire/human kissing scene.

If you haven’t read the book yet, you’ll still get a kick out of the movie.  However, it makes the movie so much better knowing what’s going on in the thoughts of all the characters. Plus, you get to see Edward sparkle (HILARIOUS sparkle music going on when he glitters, HILARIOUS, I tell you).

I give it two knitting needles up (or 4 if I’m working on socks).

  1. I’ll tell ya how many. All of them. And I being the little sister…had to watch them all when all I wanted to watch was whatever cartoon I liked at that time.

but. I do love them now – and I did make Dad watch Angel for a couple years (and had him hooked). hehehe.
